    K.M.H. Energy Corporation of 565 Volunteer Parkway, Bristol, TN 37620, is applying to the Virginia Division of Mined Land Reclamation for renewal of CSMO Permit Number 1100822/NPDES Permit Number 0080822 in order to continue the operations at the following location:

   The permit area covers 47.77 acres and is located in Dickenson County, 1.5 miles southeast of Clinchco off Route 664 on Mill Creek. The permit area is located on the Haysi, USGS 7.5- minute quadrangle map.

    Drainage and wastewater resulting from the mining operation will be passed through existing sediment control structures and be discharged to Mill Creek. The permit boundary and outfall locations are shown on the Renewal map and Monitoring Point Map in Section 21.2 of the renewal application. 

   Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this proposal, or an officer or head of any federal, state or local government agency or authority, may within 30 days of  December 31, 2025 submit written comments or objections concerning this application, and may also request, in writing, that the Mined Land Repurposing group hold an Informal Conference concerning this application.
