HANSEL MULLINS

Hansel Mullins, age 84, of Big Ridge Road passed away August 22, 2024 at Heritage Hall in Grundy. He was a son of the late Charlie and Orpha Dutton Mullins. He was a retired coal miner and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Gay Mullins; second wife, Judy Mullins; granddaughter, Tiffany Mullins; two brothers, James Mullins and Noah Mullins, and two sisters, Lexie Fleming and Imogene Woods.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy (Donna) Mullins, Elkin, NC, Jerico (Debbie) Mullins, Clintwood, and Jonathan Mullins, Clintwood; seven grandchildren, Eddie (Melody) Mullins, Matthew (Tara) Mullins, Joshua (Liz) Mullins, Bethany Mullins, Corwin Mullins, Tabitha Mullins and Shelly Mullins; eight great-grandchildren, Josiah, Noah, Natalie, Atheliah, Arolyn, Maddie, Sophie, and Hadley; two sisters, Edith Mullins and Ester Mullins and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and prayer service was conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Haysi Funeral Home with Pastor Joshua Mullins and Reverend Eddie Mullins officiating. Burial followed in the Bartley-Hill Cemetery, Wagon Trail Road, Haysi. Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers. The funeral procession left the funeral home at noon.
