Andrew “Andy” Myer Edwards, age 54, passed away, Monday, April 15, 2024. Born in Michigan, he was a son of Ray Edwards of Haysi and Lena Edwards of Clintwood. He was last employed as a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by a sister Janet Lynn Edwards and niece, Janet Lynn Edwards.

Survivors include his son, Anthony (Victoria) Edwards, Haysi; granddaughters, Santanna and Lacey Edwards; sister, Lisa (Jeff) Barton, Clintwood; brother, Johnny Edwards, Coeburn; half-brother, David (Sherry) Colley, Manassas; nieces and nephews, Amanda (Michael) Shelton, Elizabeth Barton, Joshua (Rashelle) Barton, Justin Barton, Jonathan (Chelsea) Edwards and Kerri Edwards.

A graveside service was conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2024 at the A.J. Edwards Cemetery, Birchleaf. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
