County: 14 days, 54 new cases

Dickenson County reported 54 new COVID-19 cases between Nov. 14 and Tuesday.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began increased from 5,243 to 5,297 in two weeks.

The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 73.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by 35 to 6,471 during the same period. Russell County’s total case count increased by 132 to 10,338. Wise County’s case count increased by 172 to 15,166.
