County: One new case

Dickenson County reported one new COVID-19 case between July 18 and Tuesday.
According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began increased from 4,986 to 4,987 in one week.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 72.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by seven to 6,260 during the same period. Russell County’s total case count increased by three to 9,717. Wise County’s case count increased by 26 to 14,277.
