RONNIE M. MULLINS

Ronnie M Mullins, age 68, of Williamson, WV passed away June 16, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky. Ronnie was born on January 23, 1955 in Clintwood to the late Thurman Gene Mullins and Louise Stanley Mullins of Hatfield, Ky.

Ronnie was also preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Don Mullins of Pikeville, Ky; his paternal grandparents, Donald B. and Clearsie Mullins of Clintwood and maternal grandparents, Benjamin Harrison and Pheba Elizabeth Hill Stanley of Hill Ridge.

Ronnie is survived by his children, Dr. Christina and husband Jeff Ferguson of Huntington, WV; Christopher and wife Kayla Mullins of Meador, WV and Nicholas and wife Angie Thompson of Morgantown, WV; along with grandchildren, Chelsea Mullins, Quinn and Isaiah Thompson; his siblings, Janet and husband Bernie Belcher of Morgantown, WV, Bud Stanley of Coeburn, Anna and husband David Harrison of Matewan, WV and Carlos and wife Lisa Mullins of Hebron, Ky. and a host of other family and friends.

Ronnie was both a graduate of Belfry High School in Belfry, Ky. with the class of 1973 and West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, class of 1977 with a degree in Mining Engineering. He was previously employed by both Island Creek Coal Company and A.T. Massey Coal before owning and operating several mines in Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia. In honoring Ronnie’s wishes, cremation will take place and a service will be held July 22, 2023 at the Hill Ridge Cemetery, Hill Ridge, at 4 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.mullinsfuneralhome.net.
