County reports two new cases

Dickenson County reported two new COVID-19 cases between July 11 and Tuesday.
According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began increased from 4,984 to 4,986 in one week.

The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 72.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by three to 6,253 during the same period. Russell County’s total case count increased by nine to 9,714. Wise County’s case count increased by 18 to 14,251.
