Two new cases reported

Dickenson County reported two new COVID-19 cases between June 6 and Tuesday.
According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began increased from 4,953 to 4,955.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 71.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by two to 6,247. Russell County’s total case count increased by three to 9,691. Wise County’s case count increased by seven to 14,175.
