County: Seven new cases

Dickenson County reported seven new COVID-19 cases between May 23 and Tuesday.
According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began increased from 4,943 to 4,950.

The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 71.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases remained at 6,245. Russell County’s total case count increased by nine to 9,685. Wise County’s case count increased by 17 to 14,148.
