No new cases in county

Dickenson County reported no new COVID-19 cases between May 2 and Tuesday.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began remained at 4,940.

The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 71.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by three during the same period, from 6,237 to 6,240. Russell County’s total case count increased by 12 to 9,652. Wise County’s case count increased by 19 to 14,104.
