County: 12 new virus cases

Dickenson County reported 12 new COVID-19 cases between April 18 and Tuesday.
According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,936 as of Tuesday, compared to 4,924 one week earlier.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 71.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by eight during the same period, from 6,226 to 6,234. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 12 to 9,629. Wise County’s case count increased by nine to 14,080.
