County: 11 new cases

Dickenson County reported 11 new COVID-19 cases between March 28 and Tuesday.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,914 as of Tuesday, compared to 4,903 one week earlier.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 71.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by six during the same period, from 6,211 to 6,217. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 19 to 9,593. Wise County’s case count increased by 13 to 14,046.
