County: Just 10 cases in one week

Dickenson County reported 10 new COVID-19 cases in the past week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,881 as of yesterday, compared to 4,871 on Feb. 21.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 71.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by six in one week, from 6,167 Feb. 21 to 6,173 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 25 to 9,470. Wise County’s case count increased by 39 to 13,941.
