County reports 25 COVID cases

Dickenson County reported 25 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,813 as of yesterday, compared to 4,788 on Jan. 24.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 66.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases was reported to have increased by 15 in seven days, from 6,096 Jan. 24 to 6,111 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 47 to 9,308. Wise County’s case count increased by 57 to 13,721.
