County sees 29 cases

Dickenson County reported 29 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,755 as of yesterday, compared to 4,726 on Jan. 10.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 65.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases was reported to have increased by 21 in seven days, from 6,043 Jan. 10 to 6,064 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 41 to 9,189. Wise County’s case count increased by 54 to 13,596.
