County reports 14 new cases

Dickenson County reported 14 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,636 as of yesterday, compared to 4,622 one week earlier.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 64.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases was reported to have increased by 18 in a week, from 5,967 Dec. 13 to 5,985 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 45 to 8,962. Wise County’s case count increased by 48 to 13,309.
