ARBUTUS BOYD RASNICK

Arbutus Boyd Rasnick, 89, of Summerfield, Fl. passed away December 10, 2022, at her Summerfield, Fl. home. She was the wife of the late Clovis Nolan Rasnick who preceded her in March 2012.

Arbutus was born in Davenport, a daughter of the late Elbert and Eunice Boyd. She moved to Summerfield, Fl. in 1986 from Virginia. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and her trips to the Farmers Market in Plant City. She was a caregiver to friends and family.

Arbutus is survived by daughters, Melba Hill (John Cole) of Clintwood, Brenda Hill of Radford, Arnetta Schramm (Jeff) of Ocala, Fl. and sons, Ronnie Rasnick (Janice) of Birchleaf, Gregory Rasnick of Summerfield, Fl., Rick Rasnick (Jody) of Ocala, Fl. and Dave Rasnick (Kay)of Ocala, Fl. She has 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: Eddie (Mary) Boyd, Jennings (Judy) Boyd both of Davenport. She is also survived by a special companion, Eugene Elkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandchildren, Jessica Paige Raffield, Kenny Hill, April Shallow; son-in-law, Gary Hill and several siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Haysi Funeral Home with Rob Knepp officiating. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15 at the Boyd Cemetery, Vansant. The procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
