County marks 35 new cases

Dickenson County reported 35 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,585 as of yesterday, compared to 4,550 one week earlier.

The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 64.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases was reported to have increased by 13 in a week, from 5,941 Nov. 29 to 5,954 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 59 to 8,879. Wise County’s case count increased by 44 to 13,232.
