DIANE MARIE ANDERSON

Diane Marie Anderson age 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 2, 2022 from her residence. She was a devout Christian and a lifetime member of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church. Diane loved serving her church family and community. Her love and compassion for Valley View and Clintwood will live on. Diane was a 1972 graduate of Clintwood High School and a 1977 graduate of Mountain Empire Community College. She worked for Norton Community Hospital for over 35 years.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Dixie Kiser Anderson; three brothers, Bob Anderson, Sammy Anderson and Doug Anderson; two nephews, Bobby Anderson and Christopher Anderson and great-nephew, Jeremy Rose.

Survivors include her brother, Richard Anderson and wife Jean of Hardy; three sisters, Sue Goodpasture of Bristol, Pat Crook and husband Ron of White Hall, Ar., Lynn Bainbridge and husband John of Daphne, Al.; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, December 6, 7 p.m. at Valley View Freewill Baptist Church with Pastors Lynn Vanover, Greg Cyphers and Kelly Fleming officiating. Visitation began at 5 p.m.
