MARGIE RUTH FULLER BARTON

Margie Ruth Fuller Barton age 87 of Neeley Ridge Road passed away, Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Norton Community Hospital.  Born in Dickenson County she was the daughter of the late Tivis and Stella Woods Fuller.  She was the owner/operator of Barton Grocery, a Home Interior Representative and was a member of Pound Fork Primitive Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Beacher Barton; two sisters, Thelma Viers and Fern Fletcher and one brother, Don Fuller.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Kelley) Riddle, Castlewood and Janet Hill, Clinchco; grandson, Brad (Irina) Stanley, Lenoir, NC; three step-grandchildren, Joshua Riddle, Jorrdan Riddle, Madi Riddle; great-grandchildren, Emma, Skylar, Jaelyn, Kale, Cora and Dawson; three brothers, Elder, Roger (Barbara) Fuller, Clinchco, Harold (Rebecca) Fuller, Haysi, Johnny (Connie) Fuller, Inman, SC; sister-in-law Brenda Fuller, Bristol and special caregiver, Ralphine Willis.

Funeral services were conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Roger Fuller, Noah Kim Edwards and Jimmy Counts officiating. The family received friends after 6 p.m. prior to service.  A graveside service was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood.  Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers.
