County sees 36 virus cases

Dickenson County reported 36 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,472 as of yesterday, compared to 4,436 one week earlier.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 64.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases was reported to have increased by 34 in a week, from 5,831 Nov. 1 to 5,865 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 38 to 8,686. Wise County’s case count increased by 72 to 13,057.
