County sees 20 more cases

Dickenson County reported 20 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

According to the Virginia Department of Health, the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began was 4,408 as of yesterday, compared to 4,388 one week earlier.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 63.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases was reported to have increased by 11 in a week, from 5,794 Oct. 18 to 5,805 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count reportedly increased by 23 to 8,604. Wise County’s case count increased by 66 to 12,919.
