County: 71 new cases

Dickenson County reported 71 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

On July 19, the Virginia Department of Health reported a total of 3,601 cases since the pandemic began. As of yesterday, the number had increased to 3,672.
The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 52.
Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by 42 in a week, from 5,105 July 19 to 5,147 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count increased by 68 in a week, to 7,400. Wise County reported 11,485 cases since the pandemic began, an increase of 178 in a week.
