One week, 18 cases reported

Dickenson County reported 18 new COVID-19 cases in one week.

On June 7, the Virginia Department of Health reported a total of 3,368 cases since the pandemic began. As of yesterday, the number had increased to 3,386.

The county’s number of COVID-19-related deaths remained at 50.

Nearby, Buchanan County’s total number of cases increased by 12 in a week, from 4,970 June 7 to 4,982 yesterday. Russell County’s total case count increased by 32 in a week, to 7,044. Wise County reported 10,639 cases since the pandemic began, an increase of 65 in a week.
