ISAAC ANDREW CLYDE BOYD

Isaac Andrew Clyde Boyd 89 years of age of Clintwood, VA went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Born January 3, 1933 in Grundy, he was the son of the late Marion Boyd and Letha Ann Deel Boyd.

Clyde was a retired coal miner and attended Solid Rock Old Regular Baptist Church.  He enjoyed trout fishing, beekeeping, gardening and raising chickens.  He also loved to go to flea markets and was a loving father, grandfather, great and great -great grandfather and brother.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Thelma Gay Boyd; daughter, Betty Jean Deel; son, Danny Ray Boyd; brothers, Johnny, Kilby, Elmer, James, Marcus; sisters, Oma, Nicey, Dorothnia and Dolly and two sons-in-law, William Garrett and Jim Deel.

He is survived by his daughters, Loretta Garrett, Bernette (Randy) Deel both of Clintwood and Alene Deel of Haysi. Also survived by ten grandchildren, Scott, Jason, Grant, Travis, Shawn, Nathan, Jonathan, Lindsey, Dana and Miranda; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and his ex-wife and mother of his children, Lorene Boyd of Haysi and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Isaac Andrew Clyde Boyd were conducted Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Clyde Boyd Cemetery, 495 State Route Road, Clintwood, VA with Brother Jerry Vitatoe officiating with burial that followed.
