Officers receive county honors

County supervisors honored sheriff’s deputies Miles Osborne and Jerry Fuller May 24 for saving two people from a May 4 house fire in Clintwood. The deputies responded around 4 a.m. and found the home’s doors locked, but entered the house and escorted two people out of a bedroom to safety while the structure was filled with smoke and flames.
