GRACE GENOLA COUNTS

Grace Genola Counts age 96, of Clintwood, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Counts was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Bear Pen School. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Counts loved gardening and quilting. She attended the Old Regular Baptist Church.

Mrs. Counts was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Counts; parents, Benjamin and Cynthia Stanley Moore; son, Fred Counts; five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her son, Gary Counts of Clintwood and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 17, 12 p.m. at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Tarncy Mullins officiating. Visitation began at 11 a.m. Burial followed at the Charlie Sowards Cemetery, Clintwood. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Online condolences may be made at www.clintwoodfuneralhome.com.
