ELSIE “LIL” ST.CLAIR

Elsie St. Clair “Lil” age 80, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Rehab Center and Memory Care at Bristol. Mrs. St.Clair was born in Eastern Kentucky, the daughter of the late Shade and Surilda Smith. She lived in Southern Michigan before moving to Dickenson County, where she married Dean St.Clair in 1959. She worked with Clintwood Garment Company and assisted husband with the Radio Shack Store of Clintwood. She loved family, music shows and listening to music.

Mrs. St.Clair was preceded in death by her husband, Dean St.Clair; parents, Shade and Surilda Smith and several brothers.

Survivors include her son, Roy St.Clair and Mary of Huntersville, NC; daughter, Jan Edwards and Joe of Bristol, Tenn.; sister, Cordelia Burton of Lewisburg, Tenn.; grandchildren, Travis Edwards and Courtney and Dee Smith and great-grandchildren, Murphy and Liza Edwards.

Family received friends Wednesday, April 13 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Clintwood Funeral Chapel. Graveside service was held Thursday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Arrington Family Cemetery, Nealy Ridge, Clinchco conducted by Vester McKinney, Jr. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
