APRIL 2017: This feline beauty oversees the Second Chances Thrift Shop and Adoption Center where she lives. The Dickenson County chapter of Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was getting ready for the arrival of kitten season with a “shower” of gifts. The rescue is making a difference in Dickenson County where no cats were killed in the shelter in 2016. Brother Wolf is a no kill organization based in Asheville, N.C. and was founded in 2007 to provide the resources and life saving programs to build a no kill community.
