BALLARD JUSTICE JR.

Ballard Justice, Jr. age 74, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton. Mr. Justice was born in Pike County Kentucky and lived most of his life in Clintwood. He was a member of Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church. He was a retired coal truck driver and owner and operator of C & C Trucking. Mr. Justice enjoyed time with family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was known to all truckers and friends as Smiley.

Mr. Justice was preceded in death by his parents; Ballard and Roxie Justice, Sr.; brothers, Kenneth, John Paul, Layford and Foster Justice; sisters, Margaret Justice, Barbara Jean Kendrick and Rita Lawhorn.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Justice of Clintwood; daughters, Carolyn Boggs of Clintwood and Christy Stanley and Joey of White Pine, Tenn.; brothers, Doug Justice and Reda of Clintwood and Claude Justice of Pikeville, Ky.; sisters, Ruth Charlton and Odel Cook of Indianapolis, In., Lena Newsome and Lee Roy, Frances Charles and Patty Collins all of Pikeville, Ky.; grandchildren, Brett Boggs, Daniel Boggs, Cody Stanley and Kassidy Stanley; great-grandchild Maddie Boggs.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, February 25, at Noon at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Hall officiating. Burial followed at Annie Young Cemetery, Pikeville, Ky. Pallbearers were Brett Boggs, Cody Stanley, Daniel Boggs, Terry Charles, Jimmy Collins and Jeffery Collins. Visitation began at 11 a.m. until time of service.
