RICHARD A STEELE

Richard A. Steele, age 76, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 in Kingsport, Tenn.  He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was a generous and loving person to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Mabel Steele and his brother, George Kelly Steele.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Kevin Steele and Keddy Steele and wife, Andrea; one brother, Jack Steele; three grandchildren, Evan Steele, Ashton Steele, and Austin Steele and one great-grandchild, Kasey Cox.

The family will hold a private service at a later date with interment in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood.
