JERRY WAYNE ROBINSON

CLINTWOOD - Jerry Wayne Robinson, age 75 of The Lake Road passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home.  Born in Clinchco, he was a son of the late Almareen and Tilda Woods Robinson. A retired coal miner, he was a member of Tarpon Freewill Baptist Church, a pastor for 17 years, and a minister in the John Thomas Association.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Jean Robinson; a daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Renfro of Big Stone Gap; a son, Russell Robinson of Clintwood; grandchildren, Colby Renfro, Ella Renfro, Thea Robinson and Damian Robinson and sisters, Jan (Johnny) Sykes, Rita (Danny) Mullins and Donna Ramey all of Clintwood.

Funeral service were conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Haysi Funeral Home with Jerry Vitatoe officiating. The family received friends after 6 p.m. prior to service. A graveside service was conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Phipps Cemetery, Clintwood. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
