Bernard Fleming, with The Dickenson County Food Bank, recently delivered six pallets of food to the community center in Hurley for the flood victims. The six pallets included peanut butter, applesauce, tomato soup, paper towels, toilet paper, emergency boxes of food, cereal, water, crackers and other miscellaneous items. If anyone is interested in donating to the food bank, they can contact Faye Ramey at 276/926-1661. The food bank is in operation every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to noon. We would like to thank all of the volunteers at the Food Bank who ensure that residents of Dickenson County don’t go hungry. SUBMITTED PHOTO
