EMMA LOIS ROSE STANLEY

Emma Lois Rose Stanley age 81, of Clintwood, born October 17, 1939 entered into her Heavenly Rest on July 23, 2021 from Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Clintwood, with her children by her side. Emma was a retired employee of Heritage Hall Nursing Home and a lifelong resident of Dickenson County. She was of the Baptist faith and attended McClellans Chapel Church.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Stanley; parents, Woodrow and Barbara Rose; two brothers, Carl Rose and Bobby Rose and one sister, Doris Hensley.

Survivors are her children, Harry Lynn Stanley and wife Frieda of Clintwood, Della Vanover and husband Stacy of Coeburn, Teresa Stanley of Lebanon, Leonard Wayne Stanley and wife Joy of Rosedale; her brother, Terry Lynn (Pete) Rose and wife Kathy; three sisters, Anna Jane Stanley, Linda Rose and Mary Sluss; grandchildren, Joshlyn Stanley, Hank Stanley, Shauna Stanley, Kayla Rose, Shonna Fannin, Stephanie Santos, James Vanover and Matthew Stanley; 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 26, 7 p.m. at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, with Terry Rose officiating. Visitation began at 5 p.m. until time of service. Family and friends were requested to meet at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, to proceed to Brownlow Rose Family Cemetery, Carter Stanley Highway, for graveside services at Noon. Family served as pallbearers.
